It's November Already?

Where did October go? I feel like I missed a month or two; And now it is November 10th. Hopefully I won't miss Thanksgiving or Christmas. Have you ever seen those cartoons with Wile coyote and everything gets blown up and it all falls from the sky with everything put away. ? I look at my house and beg for Wile Coyote to blow my house up; or maybe it would be better if he just called Merrie Maids. However, I would be the kind of person that cleans her house from top to bottom before Merrie Maids arrived.

Since my last post, Halloween has passed me by, our 36th anniversary on November 3rd , and the elections are over (please pray for this country of ours). I need to get busy on my Christmas shopping. Now that all of those smear campaign commercials are over, the "You definitely need this gift. Grandma Moses would love it" commercials bombard our homes. Maybe it was a blessing for the elections disappearing from our screens. And now the commercials start bombarding our grandchildren's minds (OK even the big boys or are they called men?) can't help but look at the new toys for this Christmas season and say "I want one of those, and one of those, too, etc., etc."

So here is my Santa list before Christmas is over: I would like...well, I can't think of a thing I need. Too bad our children and grandchildren don't have the same list. However, I like to surprise people especially the young ones. They are at the top of my shopping list.

What will I be doing a week from tonight? Decorating my Christmas tree and decorating my home. Maybe my children will put up my Christmas lights so that my grandchildren can enjoy them (hint, hint).

I would say bah humbug, but I love Christmas.

Hi Rondi! Did you get your tree up and decorated? I wanted to get my Christmas decorating done before the 1st of Dec.

Add this new link address to my name on your blogger friend list, I've changed things up a little.
