Super Bowl Sunday..fun with family

We spent Super Bowl Sunday with family (missing Kim and her family); but we celebrated with them in spirit. All but one of us cheered on the Giants along with our family up in New York. When you see some of the pictures below, you will understand how boring the game was until the end of the 4th quarter.

Little Kyle decided to do some investigating and I learned to keep the closet shut at all times. However, as a grandma I loved every minute of watching him get into things. He is walking now and he walked all the way over to the pantry carrying the two golf clubs. Once he saw great stuff in the closet, the golf clubs were dropped immediately.
And he finds....the container with the popcorn packages in it.
He is just like his Papa..golf clubs and popcorn
And Kyle has found a great place to find buried treasure
Here are the pictures of all who found something else to do during the
boring minutes of the Super Bowl.
Isabella finds a great seat on Holland's boppy pillow and then...
...finds a wonderful, comfortable seat on her daddy's lap and
takes a nap with him
Holland all decked out in his football pajamas. Is he bored too?
Chad and Meigan hanging out with each other.
Chad is dressed in his Houston Texans shirt. We
all were hoping they would make it into the Super Bowl.
Kyle and Holli found a nice seat during the game
And Shannon found a seat holding the newest member of our family
Seems like Holland always has the best seat in the house
Gabi gets her hugs with Holland also
Holland definitely looks like his big sister Gabi
And what were the little ones up to while we watched the game?
Gabi, Drake and Braydon with lots of toys in the hallway
Our great Super Bowl ice cream cake....
...and it was guarded well by Gabi and Braydon
During halftime Eric and I gave little Kyle a little something for his first birthday.

Happy 1st Birthday little Kyle. You have grown up so quickly this past year. But, you still have the best smile and cutest little cheeks that are so fun to squeeze.
