Updating Photos

After shoulder surgery the end of April, 42 days in the hospital between June 28 and October 2, I haven't posted pictures on my blog. And, actually, I don't have that many pictures because of missing birthdays, first days of school, and other festivities from being in the hospital. But, I thought I would post these as it gives me something positive to do; and it gives me the opportunity to share these with my family, especially great grandparents.

This was taken after recuperating from the 1st surgery. I wasn't able to pick up babies, but they could be placed on my lap once my stomach would allow. Can you believe I haven't picked up a baby since the end of April?! Smiles like these keep me going.
My sweet Gabi all dressed up in the tutu that Maren made for her. Gabi was in a photo shoot with some other little girls for the Lamar University Football team.
Maren made this cake for Braydon's school now that he is in Kindergarten. He is going to Vista Academy which is a charter school that just opened in Beaumont. It is like going to private school, but it is free because it belongs to the state of Texas. It is a wonderful school, great curriculum, and fantastic teachers.
Some of us had gotten together to watch a Dallas Cowboys' game. Maren, as usual, made the cake (don't know where she gets her talent from..maybe her Great Grandpa Eyrich who owned a bakery in Brooklyn).
The Marshall Petersen family all decked out in their Cowboys' attire.Ah, sweet little Kyle wanting a Mountain Dew.
No can "dew" Kyle!!
Why is it when you ask a boy or even a guy if
you can take their picture, they make a funny face?
Gabi and Braydon in their Cowboy gear.
Isabella, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.
From the looks of this photo, Dallas wasn't
doing very well (what else is new?). Gabi is
playing with Kyle's I-pad, one smart little girl.
Today Maren stopped by with the kids after she
picked up Braydon from school. Braydon was playing
the Wii and Isabella sat in his lap. She just giggled and
thought it was so much fun. And, big brother loved it, too.

Now that I have posted these, I am hoping my other grandchildren will have their turn on their mom's blogs. Come on girls...let's get updated, OK? Plus, I need to see the pictures of those fantastic faces and the things my grandchildren do. PLEASE???
