The Winnie Rice Festival

I apologize to Emma and Hayes for taking so long
to post these pictures from their trip to the Winnie Rice
Festival with Chad. The three of them were able to
visit the festival about two weeks ago and they had a
blast. I had never thought about going to the festival
because Winnie is such a small town. I never realized
that there was so many fun things to do there. My
calendar for 2010 just might have to include going to
Winnie and have some fun (except for riding the rides)

This is a view from the top of the ferris wheel

Chad, Emma and Hayes were at the top of
the ferris wheel when the storm started
to roll in.

Hayes is at the bottom of this picture.
If you click on it, it will be larger and then
you can see the expression on his face.

These next two photos I am wondering
why Emma is having such a problem
with the seat belt. She has a waist that
is probably about the size of Gabi's waist.
I would think that the belt would easily click.

I went on one of these swing rides in
Coney Island in New York when I was
little. Big mistake--I can't even ride on a regular
swing or I will puke. Hayes and Emma had a
blast on these swings. (Hayes is in the orange)

Ok, this picture you can see Hayes is so
relaxed and Emma is just gleaming.

You can see Emma to the right of the purple pole.
She is the one with the mouth open and obviously
screaming. Hayes is just relaxed. Can you tell
who really loves the rides?

This is absolutely crazy. No way Jose' for me.

And Hayes gives a recap of some gravity
ride he went on.

They had a great time and I am so glad they were
able to go and also that the weather held out for them.
If they had gone later in the day, they would have been
soaked. Someone was looking out for them that day so
they could have a fun day with their dad.
