The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

This evening we had the pleasure and treat of going to Gabi's and Braydon's Christmas program at their pre-school. Although it was only 20 minutes long, we had so much fun watching Gabi and Braydon up on the stage with their many different expressions. We love every minute of watching our grandchildren perform. I have missed a lot of programs because of piano lessons, but this one happened to be scheduled on a Thursday evening which I was so happy to hear. I still owe Emma a concert visit, and hopefully there will be one soon.

And the story goes like this...."Do I have to be in this ridiculous program and sit behind a halo?" says Gabi.

"I know what you mean Gabi. This is really boring. Want to
go to Grandma's and play with the toys?" (Braydon is the
one with his chin in his hands)
"Hey Braydon. I am beginning to like this show.
I can play the bells and make music," says Gabi

"Well, Gabi, I like looking at the girls," says
Braydon.
"I don't know. Maybe this one over here is
cuter," says Braydon
"Hey, Gabi, smile. Grandma's taking our
picture""I am sitting here quietly and this boy next to
me has to be making funny faces. How
ridiculous is that?" says Gabi.
"Finally," says Gabi, "He is turning away from
me. UGH! I really, really don't like boys."
"When is this darn show over. I am having
to stretch my legs because I have been
sitting too long, like 15 minutes," says Gabi.
"Hey, Gabi, it's the end. Blow a kiss to
Grandma and Papa. Now we get cookies!!"

Thanks Gabi and Braydon for making our evening. We totally enjoyed the show!

(Sorry for the pictures not being very clear. I had to take them from about 50 feet away!)
