Let's See, Now we are in..........

Driving through different states in our great United States is a pleasure and a privilege. We are able to go from state to state with no inspections, no guards, just plain driving. And, I consider it a privilege because we owe our freedom to go wherever we wish to those who have fought for freedom.

We are currently in Laramie, Wyoming. Didn't really get to see very much as it was raining and sky was very hazy. But, here are a few photos I did take of the wide open spaces and sunny wheat fields in Kansas, the storm in Colorado, and the rain in Wyoming (how is that for a weather report).
The wide open fields of Kansas
These farms go on for miles and milesHow is that for "a load of hay"?
The fields just keep comingThis is either the beginning of a wheat field
or a corn field (where is Paul Eyre when you
need him?). That's a church in the background.
This is a grainery. What kind of grain? I
have absolutely no idea (aren't I a great
tour guide).
Just another field.
You have to have plenty of cows grazing
in the fields when you have a farm as
big as this.Another grainery
We drove by this sign too quickly; but it
says, "Welcome to beautiful Colorado". Which
means "we aren't in Kansas anymore Dorothy"
We are thinking these are porta potties for
midgets. Actually, I cropped this picture so
they look bigger than they are. These, whatever
they are, are about 3 feet tall. Anybody
know what they are?
Here we are driving through miles and miles
of fields and all of a sudden we see this
church. No sign as to what kind, but it had
a little cross on top (which you can hardly see).
Another view of the church
Can you tell the storm was coming? Wish
we had these dark skies in Beaumont.
Actually, I love thunderstorms. I was waiting
for some big booms and lightning. But, no
such luck. That is beautiful Colorado if you can
believe it.

Well, tomorrow there should be some more beautiful photos as we head towards Yellowstone. Tonight we went on weather.com and it is 22 degrees in Yellowstone. But, when we get there, it will be in the 50's during the day and the 20's at night. Br-r-r-r!
