Shannon's Baby Shower (and a goof up at the end)

We all had a blast at Shannon's baby shower. She definitely was showered with lots of gifts and lots of love. Gabi was her companion throughout the shower. And let me tell you...this baby is definitely going to be dressed in style, that is rock style. I wish you could have seen all the outfits with the word "rock" on them. Marshall was our "rock star" when he played the drums and his guitar (drums are gone, guitar is still part of his life). One outfit was cuter than the other. She had the gifts to open and I had the camera. Enjoy.

All the girls, well some of them; and dear sweet Gabi
was right there by Aunt Shannon's side the entire time.

Because of Marshall's guitar and drum talents,
he wanted his little boy to have some "rock"
outfits. Wow, this baby will be dressed
everyday in something that says "I rock",
"my daddy rocks", "mom's rock star"etc., etc.
Gabi at Shannon's side again
It looks like Gabi is thinking, "Hmmm, what
makes Aunt Shannon want one of those baby
crib things for? Her house is my other house
and I didn't think I was sharing it with a baby?"
If you have read Holli's blog posts, you can see
by this picture of Gabi how she picks out her
outfits. Actually, I think she looks pretty darn
cute. And I do say, her colors always match.
Shannon loves Bumbos. Where else would
she put Isabella while watching her? It will
be fun to see Baby Kyle in one.
Meigan and Maren made Shannon a diaper
center piece. Notice the elephant on top? Yes,
there is a theme of elephants in the nursery.
Gabi has to check this out.

Shannon says thank you to Jocie for her present.Don't you love Shannon's smile? I
think it is going to be on her face for
a long time. And Shannon, I noticed
you wore blue for the shower.
This is Donna who works with Marshall
and Kyle at Helena. Isabella loved her a bunch.

"I sure love Aunt Holli. She is the best when
it comes time for treats!""Aunt Holli said I could do this"

"Hey, these Party City plates are pretty good.
I'll have to request them for the next party."

MY PICTURES ARE OUT OF ORDER. WHAT A MESS, AND I WASN'T GOING TO DO THEM ALL OVER AGAIN. THESE PICTURES OF ISABELLA AND BRAYDON WERE TAKEN ABOUT THE SECOND WEEK OF JANUARY. I CAN TELL BECAUSE MY CHRISTMAS STUFF IS STILL OUT. IF YOU GO BACK AND LOOK AT THE SHOWER PICTURES, NO CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE OUT. HEY, IT ONLY TOOK ME UNTIL JANUARY 21st TO GET THEM PUT AWAY. THAT'S ALRIGHT...IT PROBABLY TOOK ME UNTIL DECEMBER 21st TO PUT THEM OUT. MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY SHOWER AND HAPPY GRANDKIDS.
'My toosh is not that big. Silly Grandma took
my dress and stuck it over the Bumbo. How do
you like my dress, and my socks, and my bow?
I will let you in on a secret. Sh-h-h...when they
try to take me out of my bumbo seat my thighs
get stuck and they can't get me out. They say I
will thin out when I get moving. How am I going
to get moving when I am stuck in this blue bumbo
thing? Oh, adults...they make no sense!"
"I love my big brother Braydon. He can always
make me laugh."
"Toys? They are so over rated"

"Who needs toys when you have socks?"
