Being the family genealogist, I know many things about our ancestors in Germany on both sides of my family. When the time was right to do the research, little did I know that my German family stayed in one town for two hundred years. How times have changed and now families are living in all parts of the country, some families even separated by oceans
We are truly blessed that four of our children and their families live here in Beaumont. But then, because of employment we are separated from one of our children and her family. No longer do we live on the same land as those who went before and trying to have all of my family together at the same time is almost impossible.
Today we celebrated the blessing of our newest granddaughter, Sophia Mae Petersen. Those who were able to get together with us did just that and Sophia's blessing day was cherished.
Before I get to the pictures from today, I have a few pictures from when Braydon, Isabella and Gabi were with me last week. They totally enjoyed their time together and I was so proud of Gabi and Braydon for including two year old Isabella in their play time.
I finally was able to finish Isabella's fleece blanket decorated with Dora, one of Isabella's favorites. Isabella didn't mind one bit to pose with her new blanket.
Boo, there are Braydon, Isabella and Gabi (the back of Isabella's blanket is hot pink with a white marble pattern through it).
Gee, I wonder who is hiding? Somebody missing?
This is Isabella's usual "ta da" pose
And here is the star of the day..Sophia Mae Petersen
She looks like Shannon, no she looks like Marshall, no I really cannot make up my mind
She has piano player fingers
Aunt Maren loves Sophia
Kyle and Marshall watching the Olympics
Papa and his little man Holland
Hmm..what do I do with these?
I think this goes in that
That might be, but I will try another piece just in case
Marshall, Kyle and Chad...oops, I mean Marshall, little Kyle and Chad
Our family is truly blessed.
