Never too late to learn something new
About two years ago while serving in the Spanish Branch, I played the piano for those wonderful Saints. A family came up to me and asked if I taught piano lessons. This is something I had never attempted before. But, I thought to myself, why not? Leaping out on a new branch in my life, my days as a piano teacher began. The joy music brings to my life is increased even more when I listen to the children I have taught to also appreciate music. Listening to them play, I sit there in awe as I think to myself "I taught them to do this." I also have two women that I teach that are around my age. They had always wanted to learn how to play the piano, and they both have realized that it is never too late to learn something new. And for me, it was never too late for me to try to impart my musical talent to someone else who had the desire to learn. I am so grateful that I took the leap and was willing to try something new. It has been a great blessing in my life.
