This is Jocie Bel for those of you who have not seen her before. She is one of Kim and Rich's twins. Going to Vegas for Christmas was the best thing we ever did as it gave us the opportunity to get closer to Blake and Jocie. Amazingly, little children adjust extremely quickly to relatives they haven't seen for awhile. Such was the case with Jocie and me.
Tonight, Jocie called me on the phone. When I said to her, "Hi Jocie, this is Grandma", I heard the most fantastic squeal of excitement. Jocie remembers who I am, and she said "It's Gwammama." Those were the sweetest words I have ever heard.
Now the problem is to get this family closer to Texas. I can't depend on phone calls to keep me connected to my grandchildren. Rich, are you reading this?!!
