Things Change when you are a Grandparent

Things change when you are a grandparent. I am sure that our children look at us and the things we allow our grandchildren to do, and they can't believe what we let the grandchildren get away with. These pictures show you a "for instance". Blake has Eric's (grandpa's) bag of dark chocolate non-pareills. Do we take them away? Of course not!! Blake is too proud of the fact that he found them.

But now, Jocie wants some, too. Will Blake share?

Please share Blake, please?

OK, fine you can have one. Bet you can't eat just one.

She can have two while I stuff my mouth full. I found them, didn't I?

Can you tell who is control of Papa's bag of candies? Yep, I am; the one with the mouth stuffed full in case you couldn't tell.

Ha ha!! I am the best. I win!

Whoops! Papa's coming. Gotta run.

Well, this grandma found it lots of fun to watch Blake win the prize of the most chocolate candies. Out came my camera, no grabbing the bag away from him. I am the grandma now; I can do what I want. And this grandma likes to enjoy watching the grandchildren have lots of fun.

Those twins are so cute! And, it's true. My mom also says that being a Grandma is much more fun because you don't have to worry about "raising" them.
