The Petersen Family loves Acapulco Mexican restaurant.
In fact, I think the wait staff there know our sons by
name. We used to be a Casa Ole' family; but I
promise you that once you eat at Acapulco, you will be
an Acapulco family.
Great food is even greater when it is shared with great
friends. The Davis family has moved back to Beaumont
and we are so happy. Maren grew up with Megan and
Melanie, and Gena has been my dear friend ever
since we met. Our friendship has been tried by being
separated by many miles; but our friendship is tried and
true. And, that is a choice blessing.
We had so much fun today meeting for lunch. We laughed
and laughed, talked and talked; and it was like we have
never been separated. Way back in the olden days, I
was a Girl Scout (no laughing please). There was a song
we used to sing with these words:
"Make new friends
But keep the old.
One is silver and
The other's gold."
This is a golden friendship and we are truly blessed to have the
Davis family back in Beaumont.
