I can remember standing in line at the store one time, and the man behind me said to his wife "let's go to another line because this is going to take forever." You see, he didn't want to have to wait for all of my coupons to be scanned.
I cut out and print out every coupon I possibly can. They are sorted and paper clipped together according to category. A manila envelope is the home of all my hard work and anybody in the family can take the envelope and take whatever coupons they need.
We have fun in our family when someone reports in and tells us how much they saved with coupons on a particular shopping outing.
Today, I was in Atascocita and I like to go to the Super Target there (oh please, somebody put a Super Target in Beaumont)..it's a game..you look through all your circulars, all your coupons, and a shopping you go. I saved $49 today in coupons and none of them were used on items that we did not need.
I guarantee to you that it is worth every minute to find coupons, share coupons, exchange coupons, etc. If you aren't doing that yet, give it a try. You will be amazed at how much money you can save. We live in bad economic times and we need to save every penny we can.
So, get out your scissors and start cutting your way to saving money. It's great!!

A new record!!! That one could be tough to beat.
You inspired me and I cut out some coupons and saved $10.83 today at H.E.B.! It definitely isn't $49 but I'm a beginner. :)
Good work Natalie. It really is worth the time cutting out coupons and looking through circulars. If you can get the Sunday paper, a lot of the coupons in there go with items that are on sale at Target or at the grocery stores. Also, go to coupons.com
have you ever been to the website hip2save.com? lots of good coupon ideas...my other favorites are mojosavings.com and couponingtodisney.com
