Today was our day to spend at the San Diego Zoo. I have never been to such a wonderfully big zoo before in my life. We definitely did a lot of walking uphill, downhill, and all around. Watching Jocie and Blake getting so excited when they saw different animals was priceless. Jocie was determined to see the Panda bears even though she was so exhausted.
We have to start our journey with one of the great animals
Jocie has some of the cutest expressions
Seeing some of the animals deep in sleep, we didn't
know if they were dead or not (they weren't)
Maren was so fun at the zoo
I have no idea what they were looking at
Maren has no fears
Maren and Jocie
Blake wouldn't go on the big camel. He was completely
satisfied with this small elephant.
This picture will eventually be turned into a 5 x 7
One of my favorite parts of the zoo was the beautiful
flowers. There were some that I have never seen before.
The Brown family which looks very small up against this elephant
I loved the Polar Bear
We were on the monorail and I saw this beautiful
building which turned out to be a Greek Orthodox Church
My two cuties
We were on the monorail which you can tell by my hair
Jocie and Blake...so cute
I would love for my front yard to look like this
The Old Folks
Animals, lots of animals
His weight..15,000 pounds
This little girl loves her grandpa
Maren, Blake and Jocie
Jocie and I finally got to see our Panda Bear
It was a long day..tired faces
and Jocie, she was ready to go and didn't want to see
anything else.
We are enjoying every minute with our grandchildren. If only I could take all of them back with us to Texas. The little ones say the cutest things and Kaylin and Maren are growing up to be beautiful young ladies. Time is going too fast and tomorrow will be our last day together. :{
