Last Saturday we had a baby shower for Shannon to shower her with lots of baby girl things that Sophia will need. The crowd was small because there were so many other things going on in people's lives especially since the last day of school was the day before. But for those of us who attended, we had a super gigantic great time. Meigan, Holli and Maren spread the table with lots of goodies to eat before Shannon opened her gifts.
Emma, Maren and Syd are enjoying the chocolate covered strawberries and cherries, and some veggies, fruits, and cupcakes
The girls decided to have a cupcake tree instead of a cake. Clever idea and Emma says "Yummy"
"Syd, we do have other chairs".
Shannon and Emma having a great time
Shannon enjoyed opening all of those pretty, dainty, pink clothes
Emma was busy taking notes of gifts and givers
I love these wooden initials that Kim Haynes made (Kim is
a friend of the family that is like family). Shannon will be
able to hang them up on the wall in Sophia's room. I wish
I had gotten a picture of the plaque that Maren had made.
What a beautiful gift it was.
A friend made this dress for Sophia. You can't see
the details in the picture, but the dress is smocked.
"Syd, are you awake?"
Shannon said, "Oh, yes. Diapers, we need lots of diapers"
Isabella decided that she needed to help Aunt Shannon open this big box
A new Pack 'n Play for Sophia all decorated in pink
Little Sophia will look so pretty in her dainty, little pink outfits; and she will have a comfy bed to sleep in. And diapers, lots of diapers. We had a fun day and now are just awaiting the arrival of little Sophia.
