Yesterday was our 37th anniversary. We wonder where the time has gone. Our days in Okinawa, Japan when life was so simple (although having my first baby 10,000 miles away from home without my mom was awful), going back to New York when our family was just 20 minutes away and we could spend holidays, birthdays and fun times together, moving to Pennsylvania which was still close enough to travel to New York for some fun, and then our final trip to Beaumont, Texas which was so difficult having to leave our family knowing that we wouldn't see them very often.
Keeping busy in Texas where we eventually ended up with five children has certainly affected our lives and how fast time has gone by. Now we have five children and eight grandchildren which keep us even busier.
They have been good years. Everybody has their ups and downs, but Heavenly Father has blessed our lives beyond what we could ever imagine. I don't know if we will have another 37 years together, but we will have eternity together.
We had a great day attending the temple with Rich and Kim and then being treated to a wonderful dinner at Claim Jumper. Now we head towards our 38th.
