The Last Days of our Trip

This is the age of computers even for those who are two years old and older. The intelligence that these young ones possess amazes me. I am sure that kindergarten curriculum has changed from the days of studying the color of red and a number for one week. These little ones know their colors, numbers, and also how to work a computer. I had fun playing Thomas the Train and Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom with Blake and Jocie.

Can you tell that Jocie Bel was having a great
time?
Kaylin saved my night. I had played the entire
Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom with Jocie and
Blake. Kaylin rescued me and played Thomas
the Train with Jocie and Blake. I don't know
how people play games for so long on the computer.
It makes me dizzy.
When you ask Kaylin to go upstairs and take a
picture of something cute, you are sure to find
a picture of Kaylin which she took of herself.
Isn't she just lovely?
This is the picture I needed. Maren fell
asleep first and when Jocie went upstairs, she
didn't last very long. She crashed next to
her sister.
Jocie is going to be in the theater someday.
She is such a ham and cute as can be.
Blake is definitely a boy and Jocie the girl.
He likes tools, Thomas the Train and speeding
on his tricycle. On the other hand, Jocie Bel
loves to dance, dress up and act.

Jocie has her own special way of whistling and
so does Blake. Oh how they make me laugh.

Everyone knows that Eric is a big tease. But
the grandkids will tease back. They love it.

Jocie wasn't sure about teasing her grandpa,
but Blake went right over to him and took
charge. Watch the look on Jocie's face.

Jocie loves the mirror as much as Kaylin does!!
The four Brown grandchildren. This is where
we began our good-byes. Boo hoo!
Here we are in front of Rich's truck (I love
the color). Poor Jocie, the sun was in her eyes.
We added Kim to the picture. Can you guess
who is taking the picture? Never got one with
him in it.
That brings us to the end of our trip. We had a fantastic time, we love our grandchildren and the joy and laughter they bring to us. Kim is a great mom and has more patience than I do (Heavenly Father knew not to send me twins). And, OK, I'll even say that Rich is a good guy. He's a good daddy and it is a joy to watch the kids run to him when he gets home from work. He is truly loved by his children. We had lots of hugs and kisses and then we had to get on the road, the worst part of the trip. Henderson, Nevada is too far away. Hopefully in a few years the Browns can get a little closer to Texas; PLEASE Rich!!

Our first night we stopped in Albuquerque and watched the Dallas Cowboys' game. Little did I know that the next day Eric was going to drive all the way from Albuquerque to Beaumont--that equals 15 1/2 hours of driving. We arrived home at 1 AM Tuesday morning. I don't think my hip will ever be the same. Sitting that long in the car brought out my aged joints. I thought I would fall out of the car when we got home because my legs wouldn't move. We made it safe and sound and our trip ended with Hatcher, the dog, being so excited to see us that he immediately peed on the kitchen floor. What a way to show the love!!

Oh, those kids are so cute! It's so weird to see the twins talking and playing like mini-adults. Where did the time go?
