Fun Day with the Vegas Grandchildren

The weather here is beautiful. No humidity, 80 degrees during the day and in the 50's at night. The only down part of it is chapped lips, extremely dry skin, and you have to keep a bottle of water with you all the time. But all of the dry skin and lips is worth it when you are able to spend time with your grandchildren; and laughter and kisses are a constant part of the day. We had a picnic at the park and I was able to see that Jocie is just like little Maren. She has no fears and walks around the park, up the steps and slides down any slide. Blake is a little more cautious, but big sister Maren stepped in and took him down the big slide whenever he wanted to go. The weather was beautiful, it was great watching the kids, and it was nice to just sit and enjoy the day--no worries, be happy.

Maren is such a great sister and takes Blake down

you just have to blow bubbles.

After our fun day, we just had to stop and
get some ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery.

We are enjoying our time here and are looking forward to the few days we have left to visit here in Henderson.
