Kaylin totally enjoyed making Easter cookies. She was also very creative in designing bunny faces and beautiful flowers and butterflies. I had a lot of fun watching her creativity.

Maren also had a creative touch. She figured out that if you press fingerprints into the cookies then the sprinkles will stay in those indentations. Very clever Maren. The arm in the picture is Kim with the muscles to roll out all the dough. I had the easy part--taking pictures and of course, tasting the cookies to be sure they tasted OK (they were delicious).

Jocie didn't totally understand how you put sprinkles on the cookies. Her system--you grab the bottle of sprinkles and just turn it upside down onto the cookie. We had one very yellow egg cookie.

Three girls work very diligently as one boy eats all the sprinkles. Blake didn't want to decorate the cookies. He just wanted to eat the sprinkles.

Once again we see Blake's "cheese" face. He loves posing for the camera. And Maren does a pretty good job, too don't you think?

"Yum, yum," says Blake. Why do all the work decorating the cookies? Just eat the sprinkles while the girls do all the work.
The Easter cookie decorating in video form. We had a blast.
Blake performs for us while eating sprinkles.
Making cookies with the grandkids brought back lots of memories of days gone by when we used to make cookies with our own children. Decorating cookies was so much fun and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Oh, that does look like fun. Gabi would have had a blast if she was there.
