Send the Rain to Georgia

I know that most of Texas is in a drought; but from these pictures of last week's rain you can tell that we are pretty much out of it. My poor brothers in Georgia. Their state has been in dire need of rain for over three years. My brother Dennis always has a beautiful flower garden and yard. Not anymore because you can't use what water there is available. Lakes are dried up; it's awful. So, when we get rain I can't complain. Our grass is green, my flowers are blooming--and the lakes are full.

How interesting what happens to the weather here in Beaumont. I started this blog earlier; but the videos take so long to upload, that I let it sit while Eric and I caught up on some shows we had recorded. Guess what? Now it has been thundering, a sky full of lightning and pouring rain. Sorry, I am not going to go outside and take pictures. So, below are the two videos from last week and you will see how much rain we got in less than 24 hours. Maybe we should invest in a boat. Well, at least a blow up rubber raft!!!

This video is of our back fence and over to the shed

And this glorious "pond" is between our garage
and the side property and our neighbor's yard.
That fence belongs to our neighbor.

I do wish I could send this rain to Georgia and other areas that need it so badly. If you figure out a way I can do that, let me know and I will send it to you.

Man, I didn't know that about Georgia. I remember hearing something last year but I didn't know it was still a problem. We had thunderstorms all last night, temporarily lost power, and I would have gladly sent that to Georgia if I could!
