Today is Marshall's Birthday

Today is Marshall's 29th birthday. APRIL FOOLS!!!!

Tomorrow is his 29th birthday and I am sure if you ask him, he will tell you it is the best birthday he has ever had. Having Shannon in his life and getting married in June? Priceless--he couldn't be happier.

I can tell you that Shannon is a wonderful young woman. Marshall has waited a very long time to find the love of his life, the one that makes his life complete, the one that is worthy to enter the Temple of the Lord with him. We know that she was sent to him by a loving Heavenly Father who has blessed him with more than he could ever ask for.

Now, let us be sure that all understand that Marshall is a wonderful young man. He is worthy to enter the Temple of the Lord. His heart is one that reaches out to those who need a listening ear or some tenderness in their lives. Marshall is one of the most non-judgmental people you would ever want to meet. He has been through so many trials in his life and he knows that all people go through their own trials. Therefore, he has patience for those who are suffering and he has no judgments to make about anybody. He always tells me, "Mom, you don't know what they may be suffering in their life right now. Maybe that's why they act like they do." Marshall has opened my eyes, heart and mind to so much.

Marshall is a gentleman. In fact, his future mother-in-law asked Shannon if Marshall was for real. In other words, is he always so polite and such a gentleman? Yes, he is; he has no respect for men who treat women unkindly or disrespectfully. Now, you may say that is being judgmental of those men. That is not the case. Anybody in their right mind knows that a man has no right to abuse a woman in any way.

I am grateful that Heavenly Father sent Marshall to me. I have learned so many valuable lessons through watching Marshall grow into the fine young man he is.
